Human beings have no reason to create art other than the fact that they are inexplicably drawn to beautiful things.

My Art

It’s a personal belief that the word art can be applied to any act done by a human being who had the intention of creating art. This may seem redundant, but I don’t think art should have to meet any criteria imposed by others. Instead, we should value any sincere expression by our fellow human beings as art. This outlook can apply to daily activities in life and careers, but in the context of fine art, I think it really opens a door of endless evolution, to think that anything and everything could be used for art and the only person who can give it real value is myself because I chose to make it, is so encouraging for me.

Once I realized there was no such thing as “messing up” I began putting markers to paper without any plan or guidance. The art I made, as a result, even the little doodles in my sketchbook became my most fulfilling and valued works of art. I felt that they truly represented me and were sincere self-expression.
